A new device, Huawei G9 Lite, has been launched in China today with some decent specification and an attractive price tag. Surprisingly G9 Lite has almost the same specifications as P9 Lite, which means G9 Lite could be a special variant of P9 Lite specially for China. The device is priced at $260 (CNY 1699) and will be available in three colors, i.e. white, gold and black.
Huawei G9 Lite features a 5.2 inch display with full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device runs on Android Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 over the top. It has support for both 3G and 4G networks. G9 Lite is powered by Kirin 650 chipset with Octa core processor which is clocked at 2.0 GHz accompanied with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded by using micro SD card.

G9 Lite features a powerful 13MP primary camera along with a 8MP front facing camera. It has LED flash and can capture full HD videos at 60fps. The device is equipped with 3000mAh battery which can deliver 15 hours of back up time with normal usage. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor that can unlock the device in just 0.5 second. Overall Huawei G9 Lite has average hardware specifications with some nice perks.
Along with G9 Lite, Huawei has also launched a new tablet, Mediapad M2 7.0,which is the second generation of Mediapad with 7.0 inch display and fingerprint sensor. The pricing for MediaPad M2 7.0 starts from $245 (CNY 1599). The sale of both the devices will start from 13th May 2016, but pre-order is available.
