
Coolpad, a Chinese company, has announced Coolpad Sky 3, which is the third generation of Coolpad Sky series. It is a mid range series with decent price tag and specifications. The device has been launched in White and Gold color and will be available for purchase from today onward in Vietnam.
Coolpad Sky 3 posses a 5.5 inch IPS LCD with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box. It has dual SIM support with 3G and 4G network option. The device measures on 7.86mm in thickness and weighs around 143.9 grams. It has 64 bit MediaTek 1GHz Quad Core processor along with Mali T720 GPU.

Coolpad Sky 3 has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB. It has WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, MicroUSB, GPS and 3.5mm port. It comes with nice 8MP rear and 8MP front facing camera. It is equipped with 2500mAh battery which can deliver 15 hours of backup time with normal usage.
Just to recall, Coolpad Sky, which was launched in August 2015, came with 5.5 inch display with low 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It was powered by Snapdragon SoC and Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. Overall Sky 3 is a major upgrade over its predecessor and is worth having a look.
