Samsung is soon about to launch Galaxy Wide (SM-G600S) in South Korea which will be exclusive to SK Telecom. Going through the specifications and model number it seems that Galaxy Wide is just a makeover of Galaxy On7 which has been done for specific telecom release. The device has been priced at $276 (319,000 Korean Won). It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with latest TouchWiz over the top.

Coming to the device specifications, it features 5.5 inch TFT display with a resolution 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood, there resides a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC 1.2 quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM. The graphical needs of the phone are fulfilled by Adreno 306 GPU. It has 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by using microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy Wide sports a 13MP primary camera with f/2.1 aperture and LED flash. On the front, it has 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The device is fueled by 3,000mAh battery which is user removable. It is a dual SIM phone with 3G and 4G network support. Other features include FM Radio, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc.

Galaxy Wide will be available in white and black color with average build quality. Overall, it is a mid range smartphone that will replace On7 in some countries. The further availability of device is still not know, and it might be possible that it will only be exclusive for South Korea telecoms.

Recently, Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 (2016 model) has been spotted in benchmarks and is expected to be released soon.
