Recently Huawei disclosed that they will launch a new device, Maimang 5, on 14th July. Till yesterday, apart from device codename, everything was a mystery, but today, Huawei Maimang 5 has been spotted in TENAA which has revealed most of the key specifications of this upcoming device.
According to the listing, Maimang 5 will feature a 5.5 inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The device has a premium build quality with metal body. It features fingerprint sensor that ensures better security. The device weighs around 160 grams according to TENAA. As expected, it will come with Android Marshmallow out of the box.

Huawei Maimang 5 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC and 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. The phone will be available in two variants, one with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM, while other with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is packed with 3270 mAh battery for long battery life.
It also has support for both 3G and 4G networks. It sports a powerful 16MP primary camera and a 8MP front camera. Overall, Maimang 5 is a good mid-range device from Huawei. The phone will be released in three colors, i.e. silver, pink rose and gold. The availability of the device is yet not known, but officially it will be announced on 14th July. Coming down to pricing, it might come with a price tag of 1,999 CYN.
