Yesterday Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, has launched Honor 8 in China, starting with a price tag of CNY 1,999 ($298). It is a powerful device which is equipped with Kirin 950. The memory of the phone can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. The sensors of the phone include fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and compass while the connectivity options include Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB.
The phone is equipped with 3,000 mAh battery which can be charged with USB Type-C cable. The phone is launched in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colours in China. The dimensions of the phone measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm and it weighs 153 grammes.
