Android 6.0 Marshmallow is very near to its official release and all the mobile companies has already started providing information about the phones which will get the taste of Marshmallow. Motorola is among the most active companies that are dedicated to provide updates to their customers. Even before the official release of Android 6.0, Motorola has announced in their blog that most of their phones that has capable hardware will get the Marshmallow update, though the timeline is not yet provided.

This announcement will surely disappoint the Moto E (all gen) users as it is not mentioned in the list along with the Moto X 2014 users who bought it from AT&T or Verizon. The phones listed below will get the Marshmallow update very soon as per the official Motorola report. But according to them this list can be changed in future and any phone can be included or removed from this list.

This update has removed few exclusive Moto features like Moto Assist, Moto Migrate and Moto Connect, as these features are not needed in Android 6.0. ‘Do not disturb’ features will replace Moto Assist feature as both perform almost the same function.

Motorola is known for a fast no-bloatware injected firmware and they are maintaining the same in the next update. The customer will experience a pure stock Android 6.0 look and performance in the upcoming update. As of now, no date has been confirmed for the release of this update but the flagship devices may get it very soon followed by the other Moto phones.
