
As scheduled, Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been released today for all the Nexus devices. If you have Nexus 5 and above then you can download the factory images from Google Developer or can just wait for the OTA update for Marshmallow. Please note that there is no factory images for Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X because they are shipped with Android 6.0 out of the box. The devices which will get the OTA update and for those the factory images are available are listed below:
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 6
- Nexus 7 (2013)
- Nexus 9
- Nexus Player
You can proceed to Google Developer to download the respective Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory images. The factory image size may vary according to the devices. Marshmallow has bought many new features and tweaks which includes Now on Tap, efficient battery life with Doze, better privacy options, fingerprint scanner inbuilt support and much more.
If you are using any Nexus device and it is eligible for the Marshmallow update then we do recommend you to update it to latest version as it will provide better experience, new features and enhanced security. You can either download and flash the factory images (for developers and power users) or can wait for the OTA update.

Nexus 4 users will not get any Marshmallow love as Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is the last update for them. But other newer devices can have the this major update and experience the taste of Android Marshmallow.
