Oppo Neo 7 has been found listed on the official website of OPPO yesterday. Though the specifications of the phone have been revealed, the price and availability have not been disclosed till now. Recently Oppo has also announced Oppo R7s which is a mid-range phone, while Neo 7 is an entry level Android phone. Oppo Neo 7 is a Dual SIM smartphone that comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with ColorOS 2.1 over the top. Both the SIMs support 3G and 4G network bands in India. Oppo Neo 7 is mere 7.55 mm thick and holds a beautiful 5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The phone feels very handy in hand due to its perfect weight which is around 141 grammes. Neo 7 is powered by Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz along with an Adreno 306 GPU. The phone runs on 1 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
Oppo Neo 7 capture pictures with its 8 MP primary camera (flash) and a 5 MP front-facing camera. The primary camera luckily supports HDR mode for better clicks. Underneath the back cover, there is a 2420 mAh Li-Po Battery which is non-removable. The other features are Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, OTG. GPS and E-compass. Neo 7 also features a light adaptive display which changes the brightness of the display according to the light available.
Recently OPPO has announced their another phone, Oppo R7s which is a mid range phone and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, 4GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The display of R7s is 5.5 inches (AMOLED) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
