Gionee Elife S8 is expected to be launched in the last week of this month and will be available in the market in March 2016. It is a dual SIM smartphone with 3G and 4G network support. The phone is powered by Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset, 1.9 GHz octa-core processor, Mali-T680MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The internal storage of the phone is limited to 64GB, and it does not have support for external memory card. Elife S8 has a powerful 16 MP primary camera that has many features like auto-focus, LED flash, touch-focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. It also holds a 8 MP front-facing camera that is capable of capturing some cool selfies.
The phone also has DTS sound technology that enhances the music experience. The battery of the phone is still unconfirmed, but it will soon be revealed by the officials at the launch event. The other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot and a micro USB port. The phone will be available in Black and White colour.
