LG K8, which was supposed to be launched in MWC 2016, has been listed in the official website of LG Hungary. The other smartphones from the K series (K4, K7 and K10) has already been unveiled. The key specifications and features of this upcoming smartphone has been listed in the website, but there is no information about the price and availability. The same will be made available in MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

LG K8 Specifications and Features

According to the listing, LG K8 will feature a 5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels as compared to 5.3 inch display of K10. The phone will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is mere 8.7mm thick and weighs 156.9 grams. K8 is powered by 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz accompanied with 1.5GB RAM. The graphics of the phone are processed by MaliT720MP1 GPU. LG K8 is slightly downgraded version of K10.


LG K8 sports a 8MP primary camera with LED flash, auto-focus and 4x digital zoom. It also has 5MP front facing camera, similar to K10. The primary camera is capable of recording videos in full HD resolution. The phone has 8GB of internal storage that can further be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. The other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth v4.2, USB 2.0, FM Radio, RDS, GPS and NFC. It is equipped with 2125 mAh battery to power up the phone for 18 hours with average usage.

The phone also comes with some unique features like make a fist to take photo automatically within 3 seconds. More details will only be revealed after the official launch in MWC 2016.
