Meizu has finally launched their flagship device, Meizu Pro 6, in China today, following the launch day of HTC 10. Meizu Pro 6 is the successor of Meizu Pro 5 which was released last year with some decent upgrades. When comes to pricing, Meizu Pro 6 32GB variant is priced at 2,499 Yuan ($385), while the 64GB variant is priced at 2799 Yuan ($430). The phone will be available for sale from 23rd April onward and will come in 3 basic colors, i.e. Moonlight Silver, Black Star and Champagne Gold.

Meizu Pro 6 features a 5.2 inch 3D touch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. As expected, Pro 6 will come with latest version of Flyme OS which is based on Android Marshmallow. It is powered by Helio X25 SoC, 2.5 GHz Deca core processor and Mali-T880 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card. It is Dual SIM smartphone that has support for both 3G and LTE networks.

Meizu Pro 6 sports a powerful 21.16MP Sony IMX230 primary camera with laser auto-focus accompanied with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The other features include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, fingerprint sensors, NFC, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device come packed with 2560 mAh battery which is capable of provide 15-120 hours of backup with moderate usage.

As compared to Meizu Pro 5, Meizu has decided to go with a smaller screen, therefore they reduced the screen size from 5.7 inches to just 5.2 inches. The other major upgrade is Helio X25 which has replaced Exynos 7420 from Pro 5. Though there has been a downgrade when it comes to battery, but the same has been compensated with a smaller screen and other optimizations.
